Robert Dutch writes about the places where ordinary life becomes something darker. His work explores trauma, memory, grief, love, identity, and survival, often blurring the line between psychological and supernatural horror.

Known for raw emotional honesty, cinematic prose, and stories that reward a second look, Dutch is less interested in explaining monsters than in what happens to ordinary people when something impossible enters their lives. His work ranges from deeply personal poetry to literary and psychological horror, but the question beneath it remains much the same: what stays with us after everything else is gone?

His debut collection, Teeth in the Silence, was published in 2025. His first collection of horror fiction, The Room Isn’t Empty Anymore: Book One, arrives October 20, 2026.
